Salary

£50,000 - £65,000 + Performance Bonuses & Commission

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure high-value contracts in construction, engineering, infrastructure, and local government sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with civil engineering design firms, developers, architects, contractors, and infrastructure firms.

  • Generate and manage leads through direct outreach, industry networking, and strategic marketing.

  • Lead negotiations and close contracts that drive long-term revenue.

  • Represent TopoCrew at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Client Retention & Relationship Management:

  • Build relationships beyond the contract—connect with clients in meaningful ways beyond selling services.

  • Track client needs and industry shifts, ensuring TopoCrew remains their go-to provider.

  • Monitor competitor activity and client risk factors.

Strategic Growth & Market Positioning:

  • Monitor industry trends and opportunities to expand TopoCrew’s market presence.

  • Work closely with technical teams to align sales strategies with service capabilities.

  • Develop and oversee pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.

  • Establish TopoCrew as an industry leader through case studies, white papers, and speaking opportunities at industry events.

​Marketing & Brand Expansion:

  • Refine messaging and brand positioning to maximise trust and conversion.

  • Strengthen our digital presence through LinkedIn outreach, Email, and paid advertising.

  • Track client engagement and refine outreach strategies based on data-driven insights.
     

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in business development and marketing within the surveying, site engineering, construction, or geospatial industry.

  • Proven ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, close deals, and grow revenue.

  • Strong digital marketing expertise, including PPC and LinkedIn outreach.

  • Experience in proposal writing, bid management, and contract negotiation.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.

  • Highly proactive and self-motivated, with a track record of delivering tangible results.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with construction, surveying, site engineering, or geospatial data

  • Experience in winning government or large-scale private contracts.

  • Ability to craft technical marketing materials for complex engineering services.

CAD Manager

We now have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Manager to join our CAD team, who currently provides services to support our clients mainly in the highway sectors. You will be responsible for managing the CAD team's delivery, ensuring compliance with quality standards, developing 3D drafting capabilities, and maintaining CAD and BIM standards. Your role also involves supervising and mentoring the team, managing productivity and workflow, conducting coordination meetings, and estimating CAD requirements for projects.

 

Location:

London, United Kingdom (remote or hybrid working is possible)

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of 2D and 3D CAD drawings for projects.

  • Ensuring the quality and compliance of all CAD deliverables produced within the company, following company standards and international best practices.

  • Producing models and drawings in accordance with CAD standards.

  • Driving and further developing the implementation of 3D drafting within the company, and incorporating BIM technology/software where applicable.

  • Developing, managing, and maintaining 3D CAD and BIM standards, asset libraries, model catalogues, template files, etc., in line with international best practices.

  • Supervising and mentoring the CAD team, particularly junior CAD staff, in software usage and drawing arrangement.

  • Managing the productivity and workflow of the CAD team.

  • Overseeing the training and continuing professional development of the CAD team.

  • Arranging and chairing coordination meetings with the CAD team, as well as with the engineering team when necessary.

  • Preparing estimates of CAD inputs/requirements for potential or upcoming projects.

 

Desired experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working with common industry 2D and 3D CAD packages.

  • Proficiency in CAD and BIM software at a high level.

  • Experience working on surveying, civil, and structural projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing other team members.

  • Ability to independently complete assigned tasks and provide support and mentoring to others.

  • Experience in working with underground services networks, including 3D clash checking.

  • Familiarity or experience with BIM 360 or equivalent BIM management software.

  • Willingness to travel to client sites and/or other offices as needed.

Land Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for Land Surveyors to join our surveying team which provides surveying services to support our clients mainly in the highway sectors.

  • Experience of completing (MBS) Measured Building Surveys would be an advantage

  • Must hold a UK Driving License

Site/Setting Out Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site/Setting Out Engineer to join our team. This role offers a promising chance for the suitable candidate to join an already successful business and advance their career while contributing to TopoCrew's established achievements.

Location:

Greater London, United Kingdom

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements met

  • Undertake surveying and setting out duties on highway projects

  • Plan the work and efficiently organise site operations in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines

  • Liaise with any consultants and sub-contracts engaged in the project as necessary

  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise during the construction process

  • Fully interact with other members of the construction site team (team player)

  • Introduce improvements and innovation where appropriate to areas of responsibility

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering/Surveying or related discipline

  • Candidates will have a strong background in surveying, civil works, preparation of technical specifications and reports and in the planning, supervision and interpretation of construction

  • Ability to read drawings, preferably competent with Auto CAD software 

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in the UK

  • Must hold a valid CSCS Card
